Ever wondered where tea comes from? Are you a tea connoisseur looking to expand your knowledge? This trip to an award winning organic tea garden and coffee plantation is quickly becoming a guest favorite. A soak in a beautiful hot spring at the end of the day helps as well! Nestled in the great rift valley, our partner farm is family run and a welcoming place to get a knowledge download about our favorite caffeinated drinks!

Our day will begin in Hualien with breakfast before we drive down the beautiful East Rift Valley to the Wuhe Tea Plantations. We sill stroll around the gardens, sampling fresh tea leaves and learning about organic farming, cultivars and best growing practices before heading to the factory and seeing where and how tea gets made. If we are lucky, some will be being made right then! We will then head into the tasting room so sample some freshly made tea from the plants we visited in the morning.
We will then head to an amazing historical spot for a picnic lunch. The day will then end in a hot spring nestled in the mountains before we drive back to Hualien.
